Kansas City Dump Fees: What It Costs and Where to Go
Expect to pay roughly about $71 for a one-ton load of construction debris at a local drop-off, about $20 per cubic yard for hand-unloaded trash, and $75 to $95 for a trailer of brush, depending on the site and how full the trailer is. Dump fees aren't included in any trailer rental, so plan for them when you price your job.

What a load might cost
Using the Lee's Summit construction debris rate, and assuming each fee above applies:
- 1 ton: about $71
- 3 tons: about $194
- 5 tons: about $316
The weight is what drives the bill. Shingles, dirt and concrete add up quickly. Light brush and household junk usually fill the trailer before they get heavy.
